The winners of the 2011 AV Awards have been announced at a gala dinner at the Hilton on Park Lane, with Sarner picking up the Grand Prix Award for its work on the Dr Who Experience and Midwich winning the highly sought-after Distributor of the Year award.

Congratulations to the winners. I wasn’t there (on holiday) but heard at least one finalist was booed (not us thank goodness!). Anyway, I think that was bang out of order. Whatever our opinions might be, a black tie dinner dance isn’t the kind of venue for that sort of behaviour.
